Fifteen Group Case Study
Background
North Staffordshire based Fifteen Group are an award-winning telecommunication, IT and software company. Founded in 2006 they offer bespoke, smart and efficient technology solutions, as well as fire alarms and security for businesses and organisations across the UK. They currently employ a team of 40.
Challenges Faced
A number of staff drive their own vehicles for work purposes (which is known as grey fleet). Staff also drive company vans for work business and this can often be across the UK.
Fifteen Group wanted to ensure that with the right policies and procedures in place, staff that drive on company businesses were as safe as possible when behind the wheel. They wanted to embrace driver safety as part of their overall health and safety management and worked closely with Adrian Hide Consultancy to ensure that happened.
Requirement
Liaising closely with Fifteen Group Adrian developed a package of bespoke support to make sure that their exact requirements were being met.

- The introduction of an online induction course for new starters.
Director at Fifteen Group Ian Walker said: “We are enjoying the “safe journey,” with Adrian and we are looking forward to further ensuring the safety of our team when they are driving on company business, with the implementation of our brand new safety driver policy. It has been an education of how a robust driver safety policy can keep your team safe and also understand your business responsibilities when your team are driving on company business. It further enhances our current Health and Safety strategy, putting in a further process of good practice.”
